Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to learn programming with us, whatever their circumstances. This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

Everything can be used with the keyboard alone, and focus is always clearly visible.
A "Skip to content" link comes first on every page.
The site uses semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and labels on every form field.
Colour contrast has been checked in both the light and dark themes.
Text can be enlarged to 200% and the site works on small screens.
Animations are turned off if you have chosen "reduce motion" in your operating system.

Code examples can be hard to follow with some screen readers. If you find something that does not work, we would love to hear about it.
